Together with the Curator, s/he reviews and updates insurance, collections and loan policies and procedures, including long-term capital upgrade needs and Emergency Response and Disaster Preparedness.Īpplicants must complete an online application, as well as upload supplemental documents, at order to be considered for this position. S/he is responsible for the storage, shipping and proper display of all art objects, including collection items, incoming loans, traveling exhibitions and loans to other museums ensuring at all times that the works are handled and displayed appropriately. Reporting to the Senior Curator, the Registrar is responsible for the safeguarding of the collection and works on loan. The Registrar is part of the Curatorial Team at MOCA Jacksonville.
